ENSA-Enterprise Network Services Acquisition
Valdez is currently hiring for this project. The intent of this project is to acquire services supporting AFNetOps and its mission to operate and maintain the Air Force portion of the Global Information Grid (AF-GIG). AFNetOps is an AF-level, enterprise approach to provisioning and operating the AF network that is achieved through a single command structure. AFNetOps transformation will centralize and consolidate services on a global scale; providing a consolidated network operations/defense capability.
The concept behind AFNetOps is to provide service-level Command and Control (C2) over Air Force networks (AF-Net) in support of the Commander, Joint Task Force-Global Network Operations (CDR JTF-GNO). It will also ultimately provide the AFNetOps/CC complete situational awareness and C2 of all AF networks enterprise terrestrial, space, airborne network forces, an agile force with unprecedented ability to defend the AF-Net. This in turn will enable presentation of these forces to the Joint Combatant Commander with unmatched confidence.
The scope of this effort is to provide the services to bridge the time period required for the AF to move from the current ‘AS-IS’ capability into the ‘TO-BE’ AFNetOps domain.
